Logos Environmental is run by Dr Janet Cotter, based in Exeter, Devon UK. It was set up in November 2015. Before starting Logos Environmental, Janet worked for 15 years at the Greenpeace International Science Unit giving scientific advice and both writing and commissioning scientific reports for Greenpeace’s agriculture and forest campaigns.

Janet still keeps up her commitment to forests, now focussed on the creation of new, native woodlands in Devon with the charity, Moor Trees, of which she is chair of the trustees.

Why Logos?

Logos is a Greek word meaning reason or logic. It was used by the ancient Greek philosophers to describe a reasoned argument.
